Description:
The Dolomites are known as one the most scenic flying areas of the Alps, or even the world. Nice cross country flights, combined with some aerial sightseeing on one of UNESCO’s world heritage site under your feet is on the menu.
September is a perfect period to visit this area. The strong valley winds and thermals calmed down and flying gets more relaxed. Yet, it is still required to have good pilot skills to fly safely.
We organize a guided XC tour through the Dolomites for the medium to well experienced XC pilots. Giuseppe (Jo) will guide you to the big rock formations of Sasso Lungo, the Sella group, Sass Pordoi, Rosengartner and Marmolade.
The days will be organized with a meteo briefing and flight planning in the morning. During the flight you will get guidance over the radio so you can fly stress-free and enjoy the stunning panorama. After the flight we do a debriefing and an analysis of your flight.
The guidance can be in Italian, English, Spanish, Greek or French.
We will stay in an accommodation in Val di Fassa, close to the cable car. The accommodation is not included in the price but we arrange the booking for you.
Don’t forget to bring your Go-pro or camera!

Costs:
The price for 6 days XC guided trip in the Dolomites is 600€. Excluded are accommodation and cable-car.
